Improving Urban Infrastructure in Ghana â€“ The role of the Urban Development Grant
Four Communities in Ejisu Juaben Municipality Benefit from Urban Development Grant Facilities As part of the Government of Ghana and the World Bank’s efforts to improve the social life of people in some Municipal and Metropolitan Assemblies in the country. Separate sod-cutting ceremonies have been performed in four communities for the commencement of some projects.
The projects include health, sanitation and water to improve the living condition of people in the Ejisu Juaben. , noted this during a sod-cutting ceremony.
The beneficiary communities were Juaben Government hospital which is to get Accident and Emergency Centre, Domakwai is to have 14-seater water closet toilet with mechanized borehole, Ejisu Zongo is to have a 14-seater toilet facility like that of Bomfa-Achiase.
The MCE of Ejisu Juaben assembly, Mr Kwaku Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, said the NDC government would work hard to fulfil all promises made to Ghanaians during the election time.
